Voitsekh Dragovic is the Duke of Vlkyn, and a man holding many dark secrets within his halls.

HISTORY
Long have dark and terrible tales spread from the borders of Vlkyn, a region wrought with esoteric perils and villains beyond one's comprehension. It is a cold, harsh land, and it takes an even colder, harsher man to rule it. While it can't be confirmed, many claim that Voitsekh was born that way, molded from birth to be a man capable of taming his family's lands. By day he trained with merciless men, and by night he studied under the tutelage of his even more merciless father. This ensured that Voitsekh would grow into a ruler capable of overseeing Vlkyn, and hopefully maintaining some level of peace within their borders.
One day, his father had died from rather mysterious means. The cause was never found, nor was the assassin ever caught. Voitsekh found himself ascending to the position of Duke, and for some time, all seemed peaceful in Vlkyn. That is... until the Ronai invaded.
The Ronai invasion took a heavy toll on the region, and Voitsekh's allies were unable to come to his aid due to the raids within their own borders. His people and land were bleeding, and eventually, Voitsekh had enough. He began seeking out ancient, apocryphal pagan texts, desperately searching for anything that might give him the strength to defeat the invaders. No one knows what he discovered, but what can be confirmed that the Ronai suddenly found themselves pushed back, their invasion drawing to a screeching halt. Since then, whispers talk of strange creatures roaming the Vlkyne countryside, and dark energies coming from Castle Dragovic. Masked knights began riding throughout the region, on an unknown mission at the Duke's request. Though the land is no longer at war, it seems that peace has yet to return...

APPEARANCE
Voitsekh's presence is unsettling and intimidating, to say the least. He moves with a slow, cryptic determination, his words measured and deliberate. His long, black hair and moustache add to his strange visage, and his dark, cold eyes are said to pierce into one's very soul. He is most often seen wearing traditional clothing of the Vlkyne nobility, though occasionally he will down a set of pitch black armor.

PERSONALITY
To say that Voitsekh is unpleasant to be around is a polite way to look at it. The man is cold, stern, and clearly carrying a lot on his back. This weight upon his shoulders does not make him weak, but rather gives him a clear vision of his path forward. He can cut through a room with his stare, and his words can send a shiver down the strongest of spines. He is not a man to trifle with, for it feels that he may snap at any given moment. Should you find yourself in his court, watch your steps carefully, lest it be your last day.

The duchy of Vlkyn is a dangerous place. This has caused Voitsekh to have a very grim sort of pragmatism when it came to his view of the world. He believes that the security of one's holdings must come at any price, even if it means resorting to questionable means. He is also a devout pagan, putting heavy stock in Svarozic beliefs and customs. This causes him to have a burning hatred for Curians, making Vlkyn an incredibly dangerous place for them. As for others individuals, trust is something that Voitsekh rarely hands out, for in his eyes, most people are innately selfish, and will therefore betray you sooner or later.
