HISTORY
The life of a trader is not an easy one, and Vincentius (or Vincent, as he was called at the time) learned that from an early age. Having traveled across the vast reaches of Gaia alongside his father, Vincent had seen a great many things, not all of which were pleasant. Though he had much to thank his father for, their travels together had caused Vincent to grow rather jaded by the acts of mankind. Despite this, he kept following in the steps of his father, learning the tricks of the trade (quite literally). As his father's guild grew, so did their family's wealth, until one day, his father took to a strange illness. It wasn't long till he succumbed to his ailment, and Vincent soon found himself in charge of a massive trade network.
Eventually, the wealth and success Vincent had achieved brought him to the court of the Phrimaion Imperium, where he had introduced himself using his deceased mother's family name. Though his father was Osterman, Vincent had no desire to appear as an outsider to the Imperium, and thus Vincentius Viridius was born. His knowledge of Phrimaion customs and language made him seem every bit the local, allowing him to slip right into the Imperium's society without notice.
Over time, he began to dip his toes into the world of politics, using his vast resources to manipulate the political landscape of the Imperium when needed. Due to his intelligence and guile, he soon acquired the name Corvinus, and with it the nickname Crow of Tyracia. Despite his rather strong reputation within the Imperium, however, there was more that Vincentius had hoped to achieve, and secrets that he had to keep. Having thought of himself to be too vulnerable within the walls of Cassianopolis, he left the city, hoping to achieve his more clandestine goals elsewhere. As rumors reached his ears of the secession of Ostrisia from the Holy Osterman Empire, Vincentius had found himself wanting to go home. Perhaps there, he could continue his work without hindrance.

APPEARANCE
Vincentius' appearance can be summed up in three words; tall, dark, and handsome. A man with a past shrouded in rumor and half-truths, Vincentius is found to be quite an enigma. His attire almost makes his appearance akin to a shadow, adding to the already present mystique of his character. His rather soft, charismatic demeanor is accompanied by an equally soft voice, despite the strange, cold nature behind his unnaturally dark eyes. Overall, he is seen to be quite charming, and in many cases, rather disarming to those that meet him.

PERSONALITY
On the surface, Vincentius comes across as incredibly personable, his personality often referred to as magnetic. He smiles, laughs, and generally seems to be a pleasant individual. Yet, there is something sinister hiding behind that smile, and a void behind his gleaming, dark eyes. The true nature of the man is one of scheming, calculations, and a strong distaste for humanity. He is a ruthless man hiding behind a veneer of friendship, making him incredibly dangerous to anyone that crosses him.

BELIEFS
Vincentius holds no faith in the gods, believing them to either be non-existent, cruel, or foolish. To him, the only power that exists within the world is the power that one takes for themselves. He puts little stock in positions of authority, unless it serves his own ends. To him, trust is a weakness, and promises are only as good as the ulterior motives behind them. His cynicism bleeds into every aspect of his view of the world, as well as those around them. In the end, he can only count on himself, and he is completely fine with that.
