The Enkatas Slap is a renowned martial tradition around the Sea of Enkatas. Practitioners of this art are known to commit themselves to incredibly intense training. They begin by slapping bags filled with grain. As their hands strengthen, they move to progressively harder surfaces. This process increases the density of the hand, allowing for more devastating strikes. Practitioners also conduct a series of exercises to strengthen the whole of the arm, including taking strikes to various parts of the arm in order to strengthen the tissue throughout. This intense training process also helps the practitioner heighten their pain tolerance to levels much greater than the average person.

The slap itself, on the surface, looks like any other heavy slap. The primary thing that separates it is the calculated wind up at the beginning, which shows the incredible technique of the practitioner. The hand is planted very meticulously on a part of the head that can cause several forms of damage to the opponent, including (but not limited to) concussion, a broken nose, ruptured eardrums, severe eye trauma, and even death. Accounts have been given of the devastation of this attack, including witness accounts of masters that have stopped horses in their tracks using this technique.

The true origin of the Enkatas Slap has been lost to time, but the earliest records are based out of the Eastern regions around the Sea of Enkatas. If the tales are to be believed, the slap began as a method of fighting within the context of solving disagreements between two individuals. This was to prevent unnecessary death through dueling, which would lead to a lower potential for familial feuds. This backfired, however, as certain individuals began trying to find methods of making their slaps more devastating.

Over time, the ruling bodies of the region realized the potential of the slap, and began compiling the most effective training methods. These methods were then further improved upon, and eventually an entire training regimen was developed. The slap became a staple of military forces in the region, and as the technique became more known throughout Gaia, the name "Enkatas Slap" was soon given to the technique. Now it is practiced in several regions throughout Gaia, with masters setting up their own training facilities within different kingdoms across the continents. Mastering the Enkatas Slap is a long, tough road, but those that are brave enough to tough it out are rewarded with a unique weapon to wield against their foes.
