APPEARANCESvan is quite tall compared to women, and this is paired with an ethereal physique, which makes her movement very graceful, elegant, and almost otherworldly or empyrean. Her skin is snow white and quite pale. There are countless tattoos on her body full of runes, several of which are constantly visible because the clothes do not hide them. She has very long, almost knee-length golden hair that she almost always wears free. Her eyes are blue, as blue as the summer sky, or the calm sea. The interesting thing about her eyes is that if the girl uses magic, her eyes will glow with golden light and her entire eyes turn golden colours.
She used to wear jewellery made of feathers, bones or carved runes, especially if she was just doing a religious prayer or ceremony, or she was going to cast a spell. In such cases, she also paints her face much better than usual. Svan usually wears simple clothes made of leather or fabric. It's usually a long dress or a long skirt, but if she needs to travel, she can also wear pants to make riding easier. These dresses usually match the colours of nature, i.e., they are brownish, greenish in colour, but when travelling, she also wears a greenish, brownish, or black cloak that also has a hood.
Her gaze and eyes may be a little strange to someone who doesn't know her yet, hasn't met her. It can all feel as if the woman can see into the soul. Who knows? Maybe these rumours are true after all she is a powerful sorceress.

STRENGTHSCompassionate: Svan is very compassionate, forgiving and warm-hearted. All of this stems from her empathy, which may arise from her origins or upbringing. Since she doesn't know her parents, her foster mother is already dead, so that won't turn out. In any case, she never denies anyone help. However, it may be strange, but as a Northlander she has a lot of respect for life, so always try to avoid killing anyone. Of course, if that can't be avoided, she will do what is her duty. After all, she's also Sloanugr's daughter and it's in her blood to have to protect her home and her people.
Humble: Her foster mother has always raised her to modesty, which is why she works selflessly and helps those who turn to her. She nearly never accepts any gifts, at most those she can give to others in need. That is, food, skins, bones, wood, and so on. She never wanted power, she did not want to rule, only to perform her own duties. However, she isn't denying any help, if others ask this from her and she has the power to help and this help fits into her own code of ethics.
Honest: The young woman, holding on to never lying, is always sincere and keeps all promises and oaths. Svan believes these oaths come from the gods and they are watching over these vows. And she is very religious and sticks to the faith. That is why she always does her best to keep the trust of the gods towards herself. That includes honesty; which is why she's not really good at intrigue either.
Mystic: Svan was born a magician, she has always had great powers, and this is well known in Sloanugr, which is why many people are used to seeking her advice or asking for her help. Despite her young age, possible, she is the most powerful witch/sorcerer/völva in Sloanugr.
WEAKNESSESImpatient: In her case, it doesn't mean that she has no patience with people or anything else. Rather, she is unable to stay calm. She always has to do something, she feels the urge to occupy herself with something.
Stubborn: That doesn't really have to be explained, she is stubborn as a mule. What she comes up with once, or in her head, has to be that way. It is very difficult to convince her otherwise. Although she never wants to do anything bad, she may achieve it with her stubbornness.
Shy: She did not really grow up in society, her interaction was mostly only with visiting hunters or tribal members who strayed into the Hǫrgr. In addition, she feels some shame because she doesn't know her real family and her name can't reflect her origins either. Because of this, she is a little shy and worried about how others will judge her.
Witch: Svan is not a fighter, although she has minimal fighting ability and can defend herself for a while; would certainly be inferior to a skilled sword fighter/fighter. In addition, based on her appearance, it is well known that she is a magic user, it is possible that it causes fear in others, or makes her a target.
NEUTRALDaughter of the North: Svanhild was born in the north and is literally attached to her home, Sloanugr. her magical abilities are far more powerful here than elsewhere, as if she really bore the blessings of the gods. This is why if she leaves the area ruled by her people, she will be physically weaker the longer she is away from home, the sicker she will be. Great Knowledge: Knowledge can be a great power, but it is also a double-edged sword. Svan has a great knowledge of Sloannar's clans, animals and plants and landscapes, her home. She tries to avoid politics, yet many try to acquire the knowledge she has or just kill her so as not to pass it on to others.
Independent: Svan doesn't know her family, bloodline, and even, she is a magic user; for these reasons, she does not belong to any clan. This is good in part because it can preserve its neutrality and independence and can help anyone impartially. However, it is also a disadvantage because there is no single clan or kinship behind her who might protect or help when she needs help.

SPECIAL CAPABILITIESSealed Fate: Svanhild was born in the north, around the autumn blot festivities. Most people attribute this to the fact that the woman has unparalleled magical abilities, as they certainly come from the Sloannar gods (including the Loptva∂yr, the Sky Father) and from the afterlife at the same time. And because of these, she is connected to Sloanugr and the events there. If social disasters happen in Sloanugr, Svan will be sick, if natural disasters hit the place, it is still true. The girl has visions, dreams of what will happen to the clans, her home, and the entire Sloanugr. These are usually possible futures and not necessarily exact visions. The young woman is able to feel and sense the impending natural disasters and changes in the weather. If people suffer, then she can feel it in her soul and she'll be weaker, if they are happy, then she too will be stronger, healthier. Her fate and life were intertwined with Sloanugr at the moment when she was born.
Daughter of the North: Svan's fate is intertwined with her home, which is why her magical abilities in Sloanugr are stronger than away from home. If she leaves Sloanugr's territory, her strength will diminish and she will be sicker too. Although her abilities will not disappear, they may decrease significantly during her long absences.

MAGICAL MAGNITUDE General Information: Svan's abilities are legendary within Sloanugr. She is exactly the person from whom a total of one is born per generation, at least in general. However, if she leaves the Sloanugr's territory, her magic and spells will usually weaker, but if she stays away from Sloanugr for a very long time, her magic's strengths will it decreases and weakens even more. Her power will keep remaining in her original level, just the magics what she creates will be weaker than if she would have conjured them in Sloanugr. This is due to the fact that the girl's fate is intertwined with her own birthplace. She and many others believe that it is both a gift and a curse of the Sloannar gods. Although Svan is a very strong sorceress, most of her abilities are not good for attack, but not really for defence. Her abilities are most similar to those of shamans, seers, and healers. Support skills that she can use to help and serve her own people. For most spells, despite her abilities, she also needs to concentrate, in many cases maintaining the spell. In other cases, she has to use components, or just utter words, or draw runes in the air, on an object, on a person, or on the ground. Thus, she is also bound by the disadvantages of magic.
Crux and Weaknesses: Like all magic users, Svanhild is suffered by these "curses". Her real name, which she got from her foster mother, is Blomelda, which means Fire Flower, referring to her fire abilities. She also needs time, concentration, spoken words, hand gestures for spells. If she loses her tongue, her hands, she may never be able to cast spells again. On top of that, she also has a special "curse"; she can reach and use the maximum of her own abilities only in Sloanugr. If she leaves her home, her magical abilities will be greatly reduced. They will not cease, but they will be greatly weakened. If someone says her real name, she can lose all abilities for days.
MAGIC AND SPELLVisions of the Sky Father: One of Svan's abilities is to have visions, dreams of the future, present and past, what happened, what happens and what will happen in Sloanugr. These visions are usually dreamlike, and although they usually contain a lot of truth, the woman has no power over time, so these events can change. Of course, sometimes, it is happened what she sees or dreams of will happen exactly that way. She has no power over these dreams and visions, they can appear at any night or in any situation. Although, if she meditates or concentrates, it is easier. It includes the fact that she is able to see the future of a specific person with words and ritual, but these are even more obscure and mystical. Last but not least, Sky Father is a blessing for being able to anticipate, feel the impending natural changes, disasters, storms, earthquakes, etc. The events of the past are always accurate, the present is almost accurate, the future is obscure. Because of this ability, she got the Fate-weaver title.
Embrace of Heidrun: A kind of combination of astral, mental and healing magic. With this ability, Svanhild is able to see and feel the souls of others, the pain of others, and to be able to help them. She may calm animals and people to relieve their mental pain. This may also allow her to tell or feel if someone is lying (in the case of PC / NPC the consent of the PC / NPC always requires it). The actual part of the ability is the ability to heal others. The smaller the wounds or the illnesses, the easier it is to do, however, the more severe the illness or injury, the more force and time, strength, and energy may have to be invested in the spell. Theoretically, she may be able to resurrect the dead, but this always involves extinguishing a different life as sacrifice, which is contrary to a woman's own faith and code of ethics. Not to mention it is possible she would die in this spell as well, as it consumes her entirely. So at most, she would only give her own life for someone else. With the same ability she can look into the minds of others, hear their thoughts, no matter how strong, she can't telepathically control others, just talk to them in the "ghost language" and they can respond, or she can create illusions to protect herself and scare others.
Bálgrimm's Whispers: Although she is unable to resurrect the dead, that does not mean that she cannot reach the world beyond the Veil, the underworld. Souls usually do not leave immediately, or there are souls which are trapped in the living world, or there are returning souls, spirits, like the disir, draugr, and other creatures. With this magic, Svan is able to reach out to these souls, spirits, and talk to them. This is usually exhausted through guidance, advice, and help. She may be able to summon these souls and send them back to their own realm. The weaker a soul is, the easier it is. She may be able to control these souls, but she cannot ask or instruct them to do anything contrary to the character of the soul. A helper spirit will never kill or hurt others, not even tell secrets about someone, if that is hurt to someone. Creatures with only animal intelligence are easy to control or send them back to their own dead domain. But the stronger such a being, the more ineffective the ability (in the case of PC / NPC the consent of the PC / NPC always requires).
Guidance of Eikfrun: This class of magic is closely related to the very first. Life in Sloanugr is not easy, it's hard to find wildlife, whales, and anything that can serve as food. By combining this ability with the other ability, Svan may be able to find herds of animals, flocks, edible plants, and usable trees. She can find out when and where to find them, feel and predict storms, blizzards, avalanches. She can find the best trails through the mountains, in the woods, avoid predators, or dangerous neighbourhoods. It can be a big help in dangerous Sloanugr. With this ability, she is also able to talk to animals and ask for their help. At a certain level, she can also control the weather in a smaller area, bring rain, control winds, and provide rain and snow. This is a ritual and requires more effort (she needs hours or an entire daylight/night to perform the ritual, so it is cannot be used in PvP or any threads, it is a flavour). The more strength and energy she puts into it, the more it can affect a larger area.
Blessings of the Vinstri and Hœgri: This actually belongs to the previous groups, but it may be worth mentioning it separately for the simplicity. She can bless others, share visions, dreams with them, or bless them by finding their way in the mountains, to find the animals, and so on. She may be able to temporarily quench the pain in others so that the warrior can continue to fight, or just intensify or reduce anger or any other emotions in them. She is able to make runes, draw and engrave them on objects, thus endowing them with less power, these are only tricks and not powerful things. She has to do most of the things herself, but magic items can also do "tricks" for others too (nothing what others can use in combat).
Wrath of Ysmar: The only magic class she can use as an "attack". While the rest are mostly good for defence and support, this can be really good for attacks. She is able to control and create fire. Although all of her abilities are that she can create a light source or fire the size of a campfire or torch in about three to five minutes of ritual. So she can't really use this in combat, it's more like a "trick". She can create small sparks quickly, but these are only good for impressing the children during the blóts, but it is of no use, these sparks are not even not good for cause fire on dry straw or grass.

BIOGRAPHYSvan, to the best of her knowledge, was born during the autumn Blot-holidays in 752 ME, when, according to legends and tales, the afterlife and the world of the living are closest to each other. That night, a young, pregnant woman arrived in a small "village" called Hǫrgr, located in the middle of the Snærmǫrk forest, the place where most forest spirits are believed to be located. The girl was born in the darkest hour, the moment when, in principle, the world of the dead and the living meet. The young woman who gave birth to her died in childbirth and left the little girl alone. Gudrun didn't know who the young girl was and no matter how she asked the members of the Clan Black-Bear, no one knew who the mysterious young woman was or how she reached her sanctuary.
She hadn't been named yet because she was weak, but her magical abilities were felt. Her mother was buried in the traditional Sloannar way, meaning her body was burned. It was never revealed who she was or where she came from. Thus, the origin of the new-born child was also obscured. She lost one family but won another. Because of her magical gift, Gudrun decided that she would raise the child blessed by the gods themselves. Or at least try because the little girl's future remained hidden even before the Æðsta Völva.
The little girl survived and soon began to grow up like any other child. Hǫrgr became her home, this tiny village actually consists of three buildings and a barn. There are two smaller buildings in it, one was her and Gudrun's home, the other was a small building with a storeroom like building, a larger chamber where meat, plants and the like were stored. The large building is a traditional Sloannar long house. It was home to the guests, merchants, and students who came to learn from Gudrun. The population of the small village was usually around twenty.
The little girl must have been two years old when she was playing in the barn and something scared her, accidentally and due to this she set fire to the barn. It was then that she got her name from her foster mother, Blomelda, which thus became her crux. The name meant "fire flower". This is why her second name was Svanhild Hyrrokkin. Svanhild because she needed a name to call the girl so she wouldn't lose her strength, and Hyrrokkin, well, that's related to the fire, too. Ironically, the little girl used this ability the least in her life later.
Because the little girl had immense potential, Gudrun began teaching her personally. Which wasn't the easiest task because the little girl was much more talented and stronger than she and the woman worried she wouldn't have anything to teach over time. And Svan loved to learn, really everything. She was quite physically weak, always, so she never excelled in fighting, but she was very adept at magic or just about anything else. She listened with pleasure and enthusiasm to the stories of the Wanderers, or the members of Clan Black-Bear. Or she was just taking care of animals and talking to them.
In the summer, when the opportunity arose, she studied about plants, the animals, the fish in the stream. Svan had to accompany her foster mother to the three larger cities. She was always afraid in these places because it was a very different place to what she was used to. Her appearance was always quite striking, her ethereal physique, her height, her golden hair, or her almost unnaturally pale skin were all spectacular. Last but not least, it was frightening to her that people, that is, other children, were afraid of her because her eyes were golden when she cast spells.
It caused her so much trauma that she no longer really wanted to go to town or meet the other children. Rather, she stayed at home and studied, practising there. As she got older, her visions and dreams became more and more frequent, more and more detailed, and more and more things came true. Svan's abilities came partly through learning and partly instinctively. In the winter, she mainly dealt with the healing and medicine of others, and she studied them. She was a very smart girl, so she progressed fast. However, she still did not succeed with the fight. She was also physically weak for sword and shield fighting, so she preferred archery.
Clan Black-Bear members taught her a lot about orienteering in the woods and life in the woods, and of course, about survival. She learned a lot from them and visited their villages, settlements several times. Those who were closer to nature were much more understandable, simpler to the girl. Although Svan was also interested in the stories of wanderers from distant places, the girl never left Sloanugr 's land. As a teenager, when she first became a mature woman, the first signs appeared of how she connected to Sloanugr. There was a big snowstorm this winter and it was unusually cold. A lot of people suffered, and Svan was seriously ill for weeks, and her foster mother didn't even think she would survive.
Her condition only got better in the spring, when Sloanugr s fate also turned right. She was fourteen to fifteen years old when she was doing very well in her studies, Gudrun allowed her to visit the sea as well, when some people went home from the woman after they came to trade with her. Svan had also heard a lot of stories in the city or town; but the most memorable story was about @Firthgest Half-Hand, and the girl had heard at least five or six different tales of how and why the man had lost his arm. Well, most embarrassed her quite a lot. Stories and heroes. Svan has always wondered about Clan Black-Bear member a few years older, @Yrsa Geirmundsdóttir, whom Svan has always been a little envious of how good a warrior she is.
But she knew she felt that fate and the gods hold other fate for her other than to be a warrior. She had to help the people of Sloanugr differently. With her abilities. She also began researching her family at this time, but was unable to reach her mother's soul with her abilities, Gudrun told her that not even she was able to do so. Svan learned even more diligently that one day she might succeed and find out who she was. It wasn't that she didn't like her foster mother, because she did, very much, but she was curious. As she progressed well in her studies other priests and Völva visited the Hǫrgr, and the girl learned from them as well. Now she could finally start healing others, helping others, which she proved to be very adept at.
She also received her first tattoos at this time. She was seventeen years old when the old Gudrun died in 305 AM and the girl was left alone. She was nearing the end of her studies, so she had to do her last test under the supervision of the other Völva. She had to climb mountains in the coldest and worst of times and find the holy hot spring of the priests and Völva alone there, where she then had to meditate and pray for a week. Svan had to purify herself to dedicate her life completely to the will of the gods and become completely their servant. Svan found the place with her abilities and received the revelations from Sky Father and the other deities, especially from Heidrun and Eikfrun, because these goddesses were the closest to her.
It was here that she learned that her fate was forever intertwined with Sloanugr, here was her first vision that her fate would cross the fate of @Haakon Skorrson and Haaki Skorrson sometime in the future. The names were familiar as she studied history. Sons of the former ruler. Svan saw the rise of Sloanugr, the return of the real king, that this is the only way to go, because without it Sloanugr will perish. She also saw the faces of the two men, etched in her memory forever. She did not know when they would meet, but certainly in the future. After her trials, Svan returned home and received the rank of Völva from the others.
For the next nearly three years, the young woman ran the Hǫrgr alone, gaining a greater reputation and also earning her foster mother's previous title, the Æðsta Völva of Sloanugr. The woman's fame was now well known throughout Sloanugr that she was far more talented than her predecessor. She wasn't happy with that wording because she felt she didn't deserve it, and with that, her foster mother's merits would be less. Power didn't spoil her, she was always humble and compassionate. Perhaps her biggest mistake was not being able to stay calm, she always wanted to do something. After all, she was a young woman.
She found two little lynxes in the last late autumn, whose mother died, took the two little ones and raised them, Dúnkenndur and Pirraður have been with her ever since. This winter she had more and more visions and dreams of the Skorrson brothers and became more and more ill. By now she was an experienced Völva, she knew exactly what that meant. Svan recognized the signs…
It started, what she had seen years before. And she knew this fight was not just for Sloanugr's future, but for her own survival. If the Skorrson brothers fail, she will die with Sloanugr, itself…
