Hierarchy
Few outside of the world of Fae-kind have even heard of 'The Fallen Enclave'. While to outsiders, the Enclave's structure may appear as little more than despotism, it is more nuanced and developed than one might expect. One cannot begin to analyze the Enclave's structure without identifying the major factions and segments within it.
Races of the Enclave
Dre Fæmora: Easily considered to be the foremost race within the Enclave, the
Dre Fæmora have long been organized in disparate and scattered clans throughout the eastern provinces, ranging in size and capability. Each clan is led by a central figure known as the
Archon, who traditionally is viewed as the most formidable and capable figure within the clan; be they shaman, warrior, or otherwise. Rarely have they been able to unify under common cause, yet the Fallen Enclave has proven to be an exception within the thousands of years of their history as a people. In recent history, the
Dre Fæmoran people have begun to gather to the banner of the Archon of the Fallen Sons clan, a charismatic figure known as
Særoth mol'Corrav, or '
Særoth the Fallen'.
Dre Monkkol: Corrupted via malevolent and ancient darkness, the
Dre Monkkol were once men who were turned into the servants of darkness either by force, or willingly via dark pacts forged with the unknowable entities of the void. At one point, they formed the legions of armies who marched under the sway of darkness in the age following the Dominion, but had fallen into obscurity over the eras that followed... up until recently. While many thought they were lost to myth and bygone eras, the
Dre Monkkol were merely slumbering - lying dormant until the voices of their malign patrons stirred them from their deep sleep. Now, they march under the banner of the Fallen Enclave, with one purpose forefront in their minds - the destruction of the world of men.
Moroz-Blizn: Large and intimidating, the
Moroz-Blizn are yet another subrace of the Fae people, known for wandering and raiding the frozen provinces of the North East. Tribal and savage in demeanor, the Moroz are often viewed as lesser in intellect, but peerless in martial prowess. While they have never unified together as a people similar to their
Dre Fæmora cousins, the
Ice Maw Tribe has found common cause with the Enclave in joining their strength in a greater hunt against the world of man. While the clan is few in number, the massive size of its members makes them the perfect shock troops of the Enclave's burgeoning army.
Enclave Structure
While the Enclave is fairly diverse as noted above, a cohesive and unified structure has taken shape to replace the fragmented confederation that once stood.
The Forsaken form the bottom tier of Enclave society - those who are looked upon with a passive level of attention at best; or outright disgust and derision at the worst. Among those who fall into this tier are the myriad of mindless, base foot soldiers of the
Dre Monkkol - those who were forcibly dedicated into the service of Lo'vaioth, as well as the thousands of slaves who spend the remainder of their lives set to work doing menial tasks, with some ultimately being sacrificed so as to repay the blood-debt all the
Dre Fæmora are subject to.
The Forsworn is a tier within the Enclave's structure that possesses a double meaning, for it applies both to the 'rank and file' members of the Fae-kin clans, as well as to those who have 'forsworn' or left the allegiances of society at large and joined cause with the Enclave. This title has been often associated with those of the
Dre Fæmora for thousands of years, largely due to the fact they universally regard themselves as the forsworn of society; for they had to leave behind the old ways as the Fae-kin of old and forge for themselves a new beginning. For the elevated of the Dre Monkkol, and other constituent peoples who willingly join cause with the Enclave - they are regarded as Forsworn because they 'forswore their former way of life' willingly, and made the decision to join the cause of the Fallen to harken a new age upon the world at large.
The Fallen are the leaders of the Enclave, with the name itself derived from the clan of Saeroth himself - 'The Fallen Sons'. While many of 'The Fallen' are from that clan, Archons from whatever clans form common cause with the Fallen Sons become de-facto members of the clan within the framework of the Fallen Enclave. A ceremony is performed in which they swear fealty to Lo'vaioth and his chosen servant - Saeroth himself. Archons, mystics, and those specifically chosen for ascension in Enclave society all stand as the foremost of the Enclave - as the Fallen Sons who seek to elevate all, and bring low the world of man.
