TITLES- Shadowcat
- Lorekeeper
APPEARANCEThey are basically invisible or ghostly, shady humanoid, or cat. It is typically in the form of a cat which is lynx-sized. They look like a shadow with a huge white eye.
Dis is quite old even in the world of the living, but they are still very curious in nature. They may seem a little naive, but that's not true, they have spent a significant portion of their existence travelling all over Eroba, but many times in pretty bad circumstances, due to the fact that people hate magic and magic creatures.
Quite a calm and thoughtful nature, on the outside they may seem to let events drift with it, but they usually like to plan their steps in advance. However, they like that if those around them seem happy, perhaps that's why Dis chooses the shadowcat form. However, they downright don't understand why many people are weird when a cat talks.
Dis doesn't necessarily like to interfere in things / events, but rather observes and whispers ideas in the ears of others to make them happen and they try to help like this, because they are pacifist. They like to refer to themselves as "they," not as male or female. They are friendly and try to find friends.

STRENGTHSQuick Learner: They can learn things, skills faster than others thanks to their intelligence, long life and experiences.
Shadow: As a Shadowy creature, Dis can be invisible to others and always looks like a shadow. They can take on other forms, but they also look like a shadow when they are visible.
Observer: Their abilities make them a great observer, but in addition to these it is able to perceive a lot of small connections and presence that help it in the world of the living.
Immaterial: As a shadow creature, they are immaterial in any case, thanks to which they can pass through non-magical walls and are also a good defence against being attacked. Because of this state they are only able to communicate via telepathy. Of course, they are not invulnerable and this condition has its weaknesses (see weaknesses).
WEAKNESSESCats: Dis' favourite form are the cats, let's face it, it's pretty hard to thrive in life in this way and many find talking a cat weird especially in a world where most of the inhabitants fear magic and any magical creature.
Vulnerable: Dis is vulnerable to all manner of sorcerous/religious (blessings) shenanigans, these can harm them and it is unlikely that they can defend themselves against them, these can even kill them.
Immaterial: The immaterial form can be quite good at avoiding the attacks of ordinary people; however, the Shadowcat cannot penetrate magical walls, and since they cannot cast spells, they are not able to influence the world, and they are only able to speak with others via telepathic communication. And the other party can interrupt the telepathic connection at any time and exclude Dis.
Cold Iron: Since Dis shadow's form is mostly a ghost form (since they were once Taoar, whose souls were killed and trapped), cold iron (iron weapons/objects, without any alloying) can damage them.
NEUTRALCurious: They are very receptive to all aspects of the living world, coupled with being very curious, which can even lead to trouble.
Intervention: Dis very rarely intervenes in events (only with words, because they are unable to do differently), it typically does so only when its interests require it. They are observers.
Pacifist: They seek to avoid any conflict that may involve fighting, and seek to encourage everyone to resolve problems peacefully if they intervene in any situation. And they are trying to find friends.
Curse: They were once Taoar, who were killed because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time and were cursed by a dark wizard. They owe this status to this. Although they are no longer alive, but ghost-like creatures, they cannot pass beyond the veil (if there is any kind of afterlife) until someone kills them again. Thanks to this curse, however, they also have a long "life".

SKILLS / ABILITIESDis acquired a great deal of knowledge and practice due to their long life. They have a vast knowledge of both worldly and magical lore. They know countless languages, in which they can speak, write and read, however when they are communicating with others everyone hears their word in their own language because Dis is communicating telepathically. Their knowledge is extremely diverse and multifaceted. Perhaps it is not so surprising that she is said to be one of the most educated creatures today, which would not be surprising, since she lives a very long life.
Theoretical Knowledge
- Historical knowledge, heraldry
- Astrology
- Theological / religious knowledge (Various religions)
- Historical Knowledge
- Lexical knowledge
- Magical "science"
- Lore, legends and myths
- Alchemy, herbalism
- Reading / writing (multiple languages, including runes)

SPECIAL CAPABILITIESCurious and Pacifist: The Shadowcat are extremely curious creatures who would never harm anyone - it's another question that they wouldn't be able to. They try to be nice to everyone, as they like others to be happy around them. In addition, they like to make friends, although they often hide because they are afraid of others. They are happy to learn all kinds of stories, legends, history or other people's stories.
Quick Learner: Dis is quite a smart creature and has good skills. Thanks to these and this ability, they are able to learn new things quite quickly, be it theoretical or half-practical knowledge.
Details can be seen below in the Magical Magnitude area.
MAGICAL MAGNITUDE General Information: Dis' magical abilities are quite slight, they are unable to cast any spells, except the magic sense. They are able to sense magic, and they have dreams or visions about the past, present and future.
Crux and Weaknesses: Like all magic users, Dis is suffered by these "curses". Their real name, which they got from their parents, is Hadzoska which means Shadow, referring to the fact that fate was destined for them, their parents probably saw their fate. Since their abilities are weak and passive abilities, if someone uses the crux they will completely lose their magical abilities for several hours or even several days before they reappear or recover. Since they can't actually cast spells, they don't suffer from any other weaknesses.
MAGIC AND SPELLMagic Sensitivity: Dis ability is nothing more than magical sensitivity, they are not a real magic user, just sensitive. But otherwise, with this, the Shadowcat can only perceive mages sensitive to magic, magical objects, and rituals. Also they may have visions and dreams about the present, future and the past, but she cannot control or influence them.
Shadowcat: They may be able to hide themselves from the eyes of others, or they may be able to modify the mana-web around them in such a way that they cannot be found by magic, since otherwise magic is sensitive, or magic-users may be able to see or sense them. It's a defence mechanism, since they can't defend themselves. They have the ability to become visible or invisible. They cannot hide from very powerful magic users. And since they don't have a physical body, they are able to modify the shadows (which they are made of) and thus essentially take on almost any form (maximum horse size). They typically use the lynx-size cat shape/form.

BIOGRAPHYOnce, a long time ago, maybe they were also religious, but that has faded a lot over time. They still remembered that they once respected the Ascended Ones, but now they didn't really mean anything to them. It was kind of hard for them to keep their faith when they died and saw their own bodies crushed and broken after the twisted ritual that the dark wizard performed on them. At that time, Tadron should have taken their souls to the afterlife, to Radon, so that one day their souls would go to Arana, who would send them back to life. But that didn't happen. The person who trapped them and hurt them was the person who broke the circles and reached into the cycle of life. Even after their death, the soul of the young Taoar was not freed from the world where others live.
This was not yet the moment when the young person's faith wavered - they don't even remember now if they were a man or a woman - it happened a little later. The dark wizard's curse reshaped them and turned them into a strange shadow creature. Not long after, they adopted the name Dis, which means cat, since they took the form of a cat. They slowly lost their faith when they realised that the teachings of the gods of the Order of the Three, the Ascended Ones, lied to them. According to the Taoar religion, their gods are benevolent and love and protect all Taoar equally from their own realm. In their case, this did not happen. No help came, no one saved them. They were not changed back to their old form and taken to paradise.
They were stuck here in this world, in the form of a shadow cat, deprived of any influence on the world. In essence, it's like Dis was stuck between the world of the living and the dead. And they lost their faith precisely because of this, when they realised that no one would be able to help them, probably not even the gods, or they didn't even perceive them or their prayers. This took years or decades, they didn't know, the reasons weren't really that important to them. But the number of their prayers became less and less and in the end they stopped forever. They still believed that there were gods, but their faith was broken because the gods did not care about mortals…
Ever since then, they have steadfastly "walked" - actually, floating - Eroba and Gaia; knowledge and lore and its preservation and collection are their everything. They are still connected to their old original home and house, House Molf, including @Doutzen Molf and Voldran Molf. They, while travelling on Eroba and collecting legends, tales and stories and trying to make friends who help them write the stories. So, in the meantime, they meet and befriend many other people, other races. Although they no longer pray to any god, they still believe that they exist, legends, miracles and the like support this - at least in their view, there is still no evidence for this. It is for this reason that it does not bother them if others, other friends, continue to believe in the gods.
Maybe they will be luckier than they were. And then they didn't even mention that they can hear a lot of interesting stories from other people about it. After all, new and new religions are always popping up all over Eroba. Some are evil and dark, other religions favour good and light. And their origin stories and beliefs are very interesting to Dis and they are happy to listen to them. After all, this is what they liked the most, hearing new stories and legends and making friends.
Although making friends was difficult for them. Not because of religious differences, but rather because most of Eroba feared them and wanted to hurt them for what they were. The Shadowcat's life was not easy.
