HISTORY
Amelia was born in the late-winter of 754 to the House Wulfhart, a poor knightly house in Westmania. Her older sister, Marguerite was already 3 years old by the time she was born. In 758, their mother, Raina, passed away quietly in her sleep to unknown causes. Their father, Reimar, used to be a poor knight with a small, unimportant fief in Westmania. They had no real servants, Reimar was usually only accompanied by a small retinue when he went off to war, and his Reeve, Erwin van Ghorst, who managed the household's finances and the day-to-day affairs.
When Amelia was 11, Reimar took in the family of one of his comrades, Aldric, who did not return from a campaign, taking Aldric's wife Ysabet, his daughter Elspeth, and his young son, Tomas, into his care despite barely having the money to pay for what he already had. Ysabet was often left with the girls alone, sometimes for weeks at a time, however she never formed any true maternal bonds. However Elspeth and Marguerite became fast friends, while Tomas was too young to be a part of the group.
At age seventeen, Reimar left to answer his Lord's summons and was gone for several months, leaving Amelia to defend the fief herself while he and the men were away. Shortly after his return she joined a small local tournament in which no knights of serious renown entered, however she managed to place highly, earning some respect.
After the Crusade and the subsequent conflict with the newly formed Great Goravolst and the Archduchy of Ostrisia, the Emperor, Karl von Osthaus, dismantled the Duchies of Swissnaut and Bayrwald into smaller fiefdoms whose lords would be answerable directly to the Emperor's will, given much more autonomy than traditional feudal lords. Reimar was selected to take over the Barony of Dornhal, a small fief on the southern border of the Osterreich sitting between the foothills of the Tanast Mountains and the edges of the Bergewald. As Reimar moved his household into Dornhal Castle and began the difficult task of governance, a situation he was unprepared and ill-fitted for.
Since arriving in Dornhal Amelia has taken up the role of one of Reimar's trusted lieutenants, commanding small patrols and responding to small threats such as bandit groups, deserters, or interlopers from the south or east that threaten the Barony's stability. -
APPEARANCE
Amelia is a tall broadshouldered woman retaining her femininity with her curves, but possessing noticeable and defined lean muscle mass distributed across her body, striations in her shoulders and back especially, cords of sinew visible when she tenses. She stands around 1.8 Meters tall barefoot and weighs around 70 kilograms. She has raven-black hair, kept short in a pixie cut, never hanging much past her ears and usually loosely styled upwards. She has blue-grey eyes, and though she rarely wears much makeup, she does use darker eye shadow to make her eyes more piercing. Typically she is well kept, only a few small subtle scars on her body from her years of training and light combat.

PERSONALITY
Amelia is a disciplined, reserved young woman shaped by the cold indifference of her father. She measures her worth through usefulness, obedience, and precision rather than charm. Like her father, she has become quiet and controlled, rarely displaying strong emotions, having been conditioned to understand that vulnerability has little place in her role among his household. Praise unsettles her more than criticism, and she struggles with accepting affection from others.
Socially, Amelia is awkward and often unintentionally blunt. She struggles with the subtleties of conversation and recognizing social cues, having to make a conscious effort to fit in, and usually failing. Her way of speaking is plain and direct, bypassing any niceties that she neither values or understands, making her seem aloof despite not being deliberately unkind. She simply lacks the means to truly express herself beyond actions.
On duty, she is at her most natural: focused, efficient, and unwavering, approaching violence with the same calm precision she applies to everything else in her life. Beneath it all, she is exactly what she was moulded into, yet has never fully learned who she will become beyond that purpose.

TOURNAMENT
Armor
- Darkened steel full plate harness with articulated joints to allow for greater mobility, worn over a chainmail hauberk. Her surcoat worn over it is black with gold trim, embroidered with the gold outline of the House Wulfhart erased wolf's head.
- She wears a fully enclosed helm with a lupine shaped visor, when closed giving her the visage of a snarling wolf.
- Amelia's gauntlets are fashioned into the shape of wolf-paws with small claw-like protrusions at the knuckles. The fingers are articulated but only cover the first phalange of each finger.
- She wears a black cloak with gold embroidery around the bottom edge, a wolf fur mantle over her shoulders, and in jousts, black feathered Hussar Wings with gold stems.
- Her steed is a Black Destrier, a stallion named Herakon. Typically he wears darkened steel barding that matches Amelia's own armor with nearly full coverage. His chamfron is in the shape of a wolf-skull and etched with additional details, his bit fitted with small fang-shaped ornaments on either end. He wears a black caparison with some small gold embroidery around the edges.
EVERYDAY
Armor
- Rather than her full-plate, Amelia usually wears a light gambeson and leather wrapped medium armor, built to be light weight and not restrict her movement. Instead of full plate, she wears a cuirass, spaulders, gauntlets, and greaves.
- Her usual cloak is dark grey, mottled with browns and dark greens to break up her silhouette from a distance or in poor visibility.
- Is a black roan rouncy, fitted with medium tack consisting only of armor on his chest, head, and flanks.

THE FAMILY WULFHART
Reimar Wulfhart
- Amelia's lord father, Baron Reimar Wulfhart is a cold, exacting man who governs his household with rigid discipline and a relentless emphasis on order, loyalty, and usefulness. Reserved to the point of detachment, he offers little warmth, measuring even his children by how well they serve his expectations. Yet his severity is not evenly applied - he shows a quiet but clear favoritism toward Marguerite, tolerating her defiance and even allowing her to challenge or negotiate the path he has set for her. Where others, especially Amelia, are shaped through strict control and unyielding standards, Marguerite is granted a rare degree of flexibility, revealing that Reimar's rigidity is not absolute, but selectively restrained when it suits his long-term designs.
Marguerite Wulfhart
- Amelia's elder sister and heir to House Wulfhart, Marguerite embodies the refinement and social intelligence expected of a young noblewoman. Where Amelia is reserved and controlled, she is poised, preceptive, and emotionally adept with a natural talent for courtly dynamics. Where Amelia is blunt, Marguerite is measured, understanding the value of charm and subtle influence, making her true thoughts behind practiced grace. Yet where Amelia is obedient, Marguerite is quietly rebellious, pushing against the constraints of her role and seeking a sense of freedom from the confines now placed upon her.
Talon
- Reimar's loyal Griffin companion, stands at the edge of House Wulfhart, a constant, watchful presence who belongs more to its function than its blood. He has tiger stripes and orange fur on his body, a white-furred underbelly, and dark feathers on his head and wings. Talon's left eye is milk-white from injury, reducing his vision on that side to smudged shapes and blurred colors. He is large, about the same size and weight as a destrier, but with the fierceness of a tiger and the decisiveness of an eagle. Talon and Reimar form a symbiosis, each other's oldest and most trusted companions. They are almost an extension of each other in that sense.
