Brief Description:
Camille is tall and solidly built, broad through the shoulders with the kind of strength that comes from training rather than excess. He carries himself with quiet control. Nothing in his posture is careless. Every movement feels measured, as if he is always aware of himself and his surroundings. His hair is a muted copper-gold, kept short but rarely perfectly in place, and he wears light stubble that lends him a slightly rougher edge. His eyes are green and steady, attentive without being overtly intense, the kind that make people feel observed rather than studied. His complexion is fair, touched lightly by the sun.
Out of armor, he dresses with restraint. Deep greens, muted golds, and clean linen, all of it well-made but never showy. His cloak is simple and practical, fastened at the shoulder, worn out of habit more than display. In armor, he is plainly a knight. His plate is well-fitted and kept in good condition, marked only by subtle engravings and the sigil of a golden rose. He carries a longsword and dagger, and a lance when mounted. Everything about his equipment is maintained with care, chosen for reliability and purpose rather than ornament.

From the beginning, Camille was raised to understand that his life belonged to Theos before it belonged to himself. Faith was not something spoken of in grand terms, but practiced, daily and without exception. Prayer, discipline, obedience. These were not virtues to admire, but obligations to uphold. Even as a child, there were small signs that set him apart. His dreams lingered with unusual clarity, and at times he felt a quiet unease in places others thought ordinary. It was never treated as something to chase or question. If it came from Theos, then it would reveal what it must in time. Until then, it was enough to remain steadfast. As the younger son, he was not raised to inherit, but to serve. His training reflected that. He was taught arms alongside scripture, command alongside restraint. Authority was not his to enjoy, but to carry properly. Strength was not force, but control. First of himself, then of whatever he was called to face. He was never encouraged to seek glory, only to act rightly, and without hesitation, when the moment demanded it.
The deaths of his mother and his sister, Eléanor, did not shake his faith, but settled it. What had been taught became something fixed and personal. He did not question why such things were allowed, only what was required of him in their wake. His prayers grew quieter, more deliberate. The dreams came more often after that, and with them a stronger sense that he was being guided, whether he understood it or not. He did not dwell on it. It was enough to trust, and to continue. Camille does not see himself as chosen. He sees himself as accountable. To Theos, before all else. He knows he will be tested, and he does not expect to be spared from it. When something must be done, he does not hesitate. Not because he is fearless, but because he does not believe the choice is his to refuse.
Whether what he carries is a blessing or a burden is not for him to decide. Only that it has been given, and that he will answer for how he bears it.
