The Konungriki of Spajord is a harsh and iron-bound realm carved from the fertile pockets of sourthern Nordurlond across "the Throat", where bloodlines are sacred, and power is absolute. Ruled by the feared Witch Queen (Þórhalla Hyrrokkin), whose reign stretches back generations, Spajord thrives not on unity, but on control - of land, of kin, and of the countless thralls who fuel its brutal economy. The Spajnes believe themselves the descendants of the legendary Thjod, and their society reflects that legacy. Clanholds and coastal trade towns bustle with craft and commerce, while inland farmsteads reap what the north stuggles to obtain.
